The Nepal Wrestling Association is committed to developing a prominent foundation for wrestlers. Association role is to develop and encourage the widest participation and highest proficiency in the sport of Wrestling . Through the development of coaches and officials, the association provides leadership to the sport and enables the ability to coordinate programs and activities.

Wrestlers learn time management skills, self-discipline, courage and self-control. They learn how to win and lose with grace, and what it takes to strive for excellence. They take these skills with them into school, work and life. Above all, competitive wrestling is fun!

The heart of our grassroots program can be found in the thousands of parents, coaches and volunteers who ensure our athletes have the opportunity to participate. Parents spend countless hours supporting their athletes. Coaches provide constructive learning environments and challenging workouts. Volunteers conduct meets for all levels of competition.

Our mission is to grow the sport of wrestling,elevate the skill level of the athletes in the area,and develop character qualities for on and off the mat

We are committed to a vision that has at its core increased athletic opportunity for all atheletes. Our hope is to provide a spawning ground for new wrestling teams and to support existing programs wherever they exist.

The Nepal Wrestling Association was founded in 1988 with the passionate athlete in mind. We are composed of excellent members and volunteers committed to helping our young people accomplish their goals and dreams, and to reach for excellence in everything they do. Through athletic endeavor, leadership responsibilities and community involvement, Nepal Wrestling Association athletes will meet a competitive world head on. They will have been equipped through their academic involvement and athletic success to take the competition to the mat, score and emerge a champion.
