Nepal Wrestling Association is the national governing body of sport of Wrestling in the Nepal. The Nepal Amateur Wrestling Association was formed in Kathmandu in July 17 1987. The first major achievement of the Nepal wrestling was winning of gold medal in the 13th SAARC Game which held in 2019 at Janakpur, Nepal. The medal was won by Sangita Dhami.

In addition to the gold medal, Nepal wrestling won 5 silver medals and 7 bronze medals.
